**The opportunity**:
KBR is seeking an experienced Scheduling Specialist to work within a Maritime project to enable the development of realistic project schedules and prepare project schedules using provided scheduling tools.

**In this position you will**:
Provide direct support to project managers by ensuring consistency in project schedule creation, management and advice

Assist projects with development of detailed work breakdown structures including WBS dictionaries, linking with KBR Finance to ensure alignment with SAP project establishment protocols.

Provide guidance to project managers/controllers on the establishment of project estimation processes, implementing processes that enable management visibility of effectiveness/accuracy.

Establish processes to enable management visibility of project performance with respect to accuracy of resource allocation, resource demand forecasts and resource utilisation down to the level of individual resources

Assist projects with development of project risk registers, providing coordinated reporting of risks to the Account Director.

Tertiary qualifications in Project Management, accounting or related disciplines preferred

Experience in project scheduling and project controls including EVM

Experience planning and implementing project controls procedures

Experience performing as a Project Manager would be an advantage

Advanced skills in project scheduling and reporting software packages including Microsoft Project and Open Plan Professional

Experience in the use of accounting and spreadsheet packages
