**About the role**
The investment Analyst will have a dual focus of assisting in managing the existing portfolio whilst also being involved in research into and execution of new investment ideas. You will work closely with and assist the Heads of Assets classes, to manage assets of the fund and make a key contribution to the Fund’s investment program.
We actively manage investments, and our size means we secure prime investments as well as niche opportunities. This presents a unique position where you could join the conversation and contribute to due diligence and research on a broad range of investment ideas.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Investment research across all asset classes
- Assist in due diligence on investment managers and products
- Provide support to regular reviews of existing investment managers
- Contribute to board and committee papers
- Ensure quality and timeliness of investment implementation

**About you**
To be successful you will have previous investment experience. This experience could come from a fund manager, superannuation fund, asset consultant or another closely related business.
You will be confident in your understanding of financial instruments and investment markets, combined with strong written ability and verbal communication skills to successfully interact across senior levels of the business.
A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with postgraduate studies being well regarded.
You also have the following skills:

- Strong analytical and conceptual skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in analysing investments or a related discipline will be highly valued.
- Proficient and confident in use of Microsoft Excel.
- Strong organisation skills, able to work cross functionally and autonomously
- A genuine desire to work collaboratively and cooperatively with a diverse range of people
