As we continue our pursuit of a Net Promotor Score (NPS) +30, we have established a Gen AI Domain to build the tools and capabilities needed within the group to tap into the promise of Generative AI as a key technology to transform the experiences of our customers and people.

This domain will power the creation of Generative AI solutions that will support more personalised experiences for our customers and our people. We must bring a customer first mindset into every decision; every day, whilst taking a holistic change management approach to drive organisational adoption.

We will enable the broader group to leverage Generative AI capabilities through building domain owned platforms and frameworks for use across the bank.

As a Product Owner, you’ll be accountable for a set of the Gen AI platforms and services owned by the Gen AI domain and used across CBA by crews to solve key customer needs.

You will be responsible for deeply understanding the needs of our end customers and internal consumers, owning the roadmap of the products, accountable for ensuring the product meets those needs.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead a cross-functional squad composed of engineers reporting within the Gen AI Chapter Areas Lead as well as from other areas of CBA (e.g. Data Analysts and Data Scientists).
- Use your engineering background to deeply understand the customer need for the platforms targeting internal engineers, or to engage with your crew to understand the feasibility of transformative business capabilities
- Prioritise the crew backlog based on balancing business partner demands and long-term sustainability of your products and services, in order to optimise the overall customer experience, NPS scores and risk profile
- Engage with SRE teams, consuming service owners, the controls and risk communities to incorporate risk management into the platforms and deliver platform resilience
- Manage product delivery expectations and status reporting to technology and business stakeholders.
- Be accountable for the risks, costs & benefits of your platforms and services, driving the adoption of reliability, testing practices, and responsible AI.
- Understanding that Gen AI technology is incredibly fast moving, you will help the engineers within your squad to understand which aspects of the solution need variability vs stability.
- Be self-motivated to keep learning while delivering concrete outcomes for customers.
- Be an ambassador in driving the Gen AI transformation across the bank working with the Group Practice Gen AI Solutions lead, sharing information and supporting other teams in their learning journey, and building an open learning culture within the practice.
