To service our blue chip clientele and their cutting edge Gen AI use cases, we are hiring elite Gen AI Software Engineers with cross-functional software development and data-related skills and experience leveraging the latest Gen AI and associated tech stack. We currently have three long term contract roles in Sydney for hands-on Senior Gen AI Software Engineers. To be eligible, you will have 7+ years of classic software development experience, including solution architecture, coupled with demonstrable hands-on experience building scalable, secure, and responsible enterprise grade Gen AI and Agentic solutions, preferably in a banking environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement Gen AI models and pipelines using LLMs, GANs, VAEs, and transformer-based architectures.
  • Develop agentic solutions and contribute to the Gen AI platform ecosystem (e.g., GenAI Studio, Secure Studio, Assistant, Gateway).
  • Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and engineers to translate business needs into AI-powered solutions.
  • Lead technical design discussions and mentor junior engineers in best practices for Gen AI development.
  • Ensure responsible AI practices including fairness, transparency, and privacy guardrails.
  • Contribute to the development of reusable components, templates, and cookbooks for internal Gen AI use cases.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Strong programming skills in Python and experience with full-stack development
  • Considerable hands-on experience with the following AI "tech stack"
  • AWS Cloud
  • EKS / ECS
  • Bedrock
  • Semantic Kernel
  • LangChain
  • LangGraph
  • SageMaker
  • Deep understanding of foundational models, prompt engineering, and fine-tuning techniques
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver Gen AI solutions at scale in production environments
  • Experience with agent-based architectures and multi-agent orchestration
  • Experience delivering solutions in a banking environment
  • Experience in fraud detection, customer personalisation, or conversational AI is a plus
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
