As a Support Worker at Sun Life Disability and Aged Care, you will play a vital role in providing personalized support and assistance to individuals with disabilities and the elderly. Your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
1. Personal Care: Providing support with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, grooming, and toileting.

2. Domestic Assistance: Assisting with meal preparation, household chores, and maintaining a clean and safe living environment.

3. Social Support: Engaging clients in social activities, outings, and community events to promote social inclusion and enhance their quality of life.

4. Transportation: Providing transportation assistance for clients to attend appointments, run errands, and participate in recreational activities.

5. Medication Management: Assisting clients with medication reminders and adherence as per their care plans and medical instructions.

6. Participant Advocacy: Advocating for the rights and needs of clients, ensuring they receive appropriate support and access to resources.

7. Documentation: Maintaining accurate and detailed records of client interactions, progress, and any changes in their condition or needs.

The role of a Support Worker at Sun Life Disability and Aged Care is dynamic and fulfilling, centred around empowering individuals to live independently. You'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients, fostering a supportive environment where they can thrive.

We are currently looking for Support workers to cover shifts in: Mount Colah and all over Sydney and surrounding regions, who can drive and have a fully insured car.

- Qualifications/certificates within disability or aged care industry. Manual handling etc.
