We’re excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for experienced Primary and Secondary Education Tutors to join the expanding team at Kip McGrath Education Centre in Greenhills, East Maitland and Raymond Terrace.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

At Kip McGrath, teaching takes centre stage With small group settings, you’ll have the opportunity to ignite your passion for educating young minds in literacy and numeracy while helping students build confidence and achieve their goals. Positions currently exist for in centre tutors from Monday to Saturday.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Delivering lessons using Kip McGrath’s proven methodologies
- Fostering a supportive and encouraging environment to boost students’ self-esteem and confidence
- Mastering our cutting-edge software to streamline lesson planning and conduct engaging sessions, reducing your preparation time
- Committing to your scheduled classes with consistency and reliability
- Building strong, positive connections with students and their families
- Recording student progress and objectives using our online system
- Providing clear, constructive feedback to parents in both verbal and written formats

**ABOUT YOU**

To excel in this position, you’ll need:

- A teaching degree or to be in the final stages of your teaching qualification
- A valid Working with Children Check
- A warm, approachable, and professional demeanour
- The ability to work collaboratively with a team or independently when required
- A vibrant and positive personality that inspires students
- Confidence with technology and computer-based systems
- A genuine passion for teaching and lifelong learning
- Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail and dependability

**Summary of role requirements**:

- Monday: Afternoon, Evening
- Tuesday: Afternoon, Evening
- Wednesday: Afternoon, Evening
- Thursday: Afternoon, Evening
- Friday: Afternoon, Evening
- Saturday: Morning
- 1 year of relevant work experience required for this role
- Working rights required for this role
- Expected start date for role: 23 January 2025
- Expected salary: $50 - $75 per hour

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual, Graduate

Pay: $50.00 - $65.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3 - 15 per week

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Evening shift

**Experience**:

- Teaching: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Working with Children Check (required)
- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
