Educare College is a Registered Training Organisation that has been delivering quality training since 2013. Educare College works with industry, the community, and employers to develop and deliver innovative training that equips people for jobs.

**Due to the potential growth within the community services sector, we are taking Expressions of Interest to recruit an experienced trainer and assessor to deliver Advanced Diploma of Community Sector Management and Diploma of Community Services.**

**Duties**:

- Support and manage students in an online and workplace learning environment from enrolment through to completion
- Conducting teaching and training face-to-face in a classroom 4 days per week and working with Assessor alternating between Gold Coast Campus and Brisbane Campus
- Work with students individually or in small groups
- Monitor and deliver a flexible, blended and distributed learning techniques, options and products
- Contribute to curriculum/content development, training package formulation and product development to Training.gov.au criteria
- Contribute to assessment writing, mapping and marking guides, including conducting validation of these guides
- Moderate evaluation and assessment instruments and systems to meet NVR (National VET Regulator) Standards requirements
- Proactive, positive interaction and communication with your teaching team and students including specific reporting for Executive staff
- Conduct internal audits of student files and courses including learning resources and assessments
- Maintain relationship with industry
- Participate in validation and moderation activities
- Continue your professional growth and development
- Communication between the students and management to ensure the training outcomes are completed to the highest standards
- Mentor individual students to the successful completion of the qualification
- The ability to travel within Queensland if required

**The successful applicant will hold the following qualifications**:

- A Certificate IV in TAE40116 or higher (which includes the units TAELLN411 and TAEASS502)
- A suitable qualification in Home and Community Care (HACC)
- A suitable qualification in CHC52021 Diploma of Community Services and/or CHC62015 Advanced Diploma of Community Sector Management
- Current knowledge and skills in vocational training and assessment
- Current Industry knowledge and experience
- An understanding of Traineeships and working with international Cricos student delivery

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: From $54,853.97 per year
