Mater Foundation are looking for a **Direct Sales Specialist**to join the team This permanent, full-time role will be based at our Newstead campus.

**What you’ll be doing**

As a key member of the Lotteries team, the Direct Sales Specialist will provide support of the performance and continuous improvement of Mater Lotteries' direct sales channels, including face-to-face, retail, and telemarketing. Drawing on your sales knowledge and attention to detail, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality, compliant, and engaging supporter experiences that help drive revenue and program growth. You will achieve this by:

- **Drive Channel Support & Execution** - Assist with the coordination and delivery of day-to-day sales activities across face-to-face, retail, and telemarketing channels to ensure seamless and effective supporter engagement.
- **Enhance Sales Efficiency** - Use your direct sales knowledge to help improve scripts, processes, and customer interactions to boost conversion, operational efficiency, and campaign impact.
- **Support Partners & Training** - Contribute to the onboarding, training, and quality assurance to third-party sales teams to ensure brand alignment and high performance across all channels.
- **Utilise Data to Inform Improvements** - Monitor and report on sales activity, performance, and trends to identify opportunities, guide decision-making, and drive continuous improvement.
- **Ensure Compliance & Service Excellence** - Help maintain high standards of customer service and compliance, supporting teams to uphold Mater’s brand values and meet regulatory requirements.

**About you**

Professional experience in a fast paced, high volume call centre would be highly regarded.
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing or related discipline is desirable but not essential
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Telemarketing or Direct Sales operations
- Strong understanding of telemarketing operations and best practice
- Excellent communication, organisation, and presentation skills
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Basic understanding of systems, databases and list generation
- Ability to manage budgets and timelines accurately and effectively
- Strong understanding of the sales lifecycle
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including adapt at understanding and utilising metrics, data and reporting
- Understanding of contemporary computer programs, specifically MS office
