**Position description**:
We’re seeking an enthusiastic staff member to join our fast-paced Histology Department. You will be an essential team member of the Immunohistochemistry Department, and your responsibilities will include performing a wide range of histology administrative tasks, as follows:
- Handling and processing slides according to laboratory procedures
- Conducting checks of slides to ensure quality and accuracy
- Preparing solutions for machines
- Preparing control material
- Maintaining accurate records of above actions
We are proud to say we have a learning and supportive environment, and full training will be provided. We are looking for the following:
- Ability to work full-time hours, Monday to Friday, from 9am - 5pm
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good computer and time management skills
- Reliability and the willingness to work with an energetic and close-knit team
Previous laboratory experience and knowledge of Work Health and Safety (WH&S) would be an advantage. However, full training will be provided to the suitable applicant.
