Safety & Wellbeing Lead

Right now, we are seeking a passionate Safety and Wellbeing professional to lead a small team of professionals in supporting our hospitality and entertainment business in minimising harm and creates a positive environment to enhance wellbeing.

**What does this opportunity look like?**

The Safety and Wellbeing Lead will undertake activities designed to enable our leaders to improvement safety and wellbeing performance through minimising harm, managing risk and improving the wellbeing of SkyCity employees and our guests.

This will be achieved through the provision of advice, guidance. assurance and leadership of harm prevention initiatives and risk management strategies.

The role reports directly to the Group General Manager Health & Safety and works as part of the Group Health and Safety team across New Zealand and Australia.
- A minimum of 7 to 10 years' experience in leading Health, Safety and Wellbeing professionals in a high paced customer centric environment
- Extensive technical abilities and a comprehensive understanding of:

- Risk Management
- Public Safety risk
- Occupational hygiene monitoring
- Contractor Management requirements
- Injury Management
- A working knowledge of Health and Safety regulatory and administrative requirements in South Australia and New Zealand
- Proven experience in the safety management of facilities maintenance and construction contractors
- Operational experience in hospitality, entertainment, building services environment
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels across our business
- Extensive experience in the development and delivery of safety learning programmes
