Your new role as a Crew Experience Manager in our Qantas Domestic business in Melbourne will see you focused on leading and managing the end-to-end employment relationship for a team of approximately 150 Domestic Flight Attendants.

You will play an integral role in ensuring a continual focus on safety, service and productivity, whilst cultivating a high-performance culture amongst a large, diverse and industrialised workforce. Through effective people management and collaborating with partner areas to act on trends affecting Cabin Crew service delivery/productivity, you will contribute greatly to business plan objectives.

To support our crew during peak periods of our 24/7 operation, you will be required on a 5-week, 7 day rotating roster to ensure visibility of leadership during peak times when our crew are in base and provide support whilst up-line.

What you’ll bring to the role:

- Knowledge of the industrial context and influencing outcomes with unions
- Proven ability in developing individuals and building effective, high performing teams
- Proven communication, facilitation, presentation and diplomacy skills
- Experience in working within industrialised workplace environments with case management and investigation experience
- Developed business acumen and personal commitment to service excellence
- Ability to manage ‘business as usual’ activity while also leading various business projects
- Sound judgement, proactive thinking and fit for purpose solutions to meet an ever-changing customer and employee landscape
- Proven ability to motivate, lead and influence others
