AGA are currently seeking an experienced an enthusiastic Administration Assistant to join the team at AGA in Deer Park, VIC.

AGA, proudly part of the IntoWork Group Australia, offers a complete apprenticeship service to both the apprentice or trainee and the employer, a service which allows the individual to realise their full potential and the employer to meet the dynamic and changing needs of industry.

AGA designs its training and education programs to create genuine outcomes which result in quality, ongoing employment for students. AGA employs many of these apprentices and trainees and assumes the primary duty of care as the legal employer and ensures they are supported and mentored throughout their employment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain and manage AGA Records Management ensuring accuracy to support our compliance with the GTO National Standards;
- Provide advice and guidance to other employees on maintaining digital records and systems
- Identify areas for improving business processes and efficiency
- Implement and maintain Work Instructions and procedures
- Where required, prepare documentation on behalf of Field Officers (for example, letters to apprentices, host employer packs, presentations etc)
- Run regular reports for the GTO Administration Team Leader as required.
- Respond to apprentices, host employers and other stakeholders, providing accurate and helpful information on AGA’s employment and training services
- Order Personal Protective Equipment for Apprentices and arrange delivery or pick up
- Processing and reporting Incentive Claims
- Onboarding and Induction of new Apprentices & Trainee's
- Assist recruitment or reception as requested at peak times, however this is not a primary function of the role
- Ensure safe office work practices are carried out and report hazards, injuries or incidents to their manager
- Provide other administrative services to the GTO as requested from time to time.

***Key selection criteria**:

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- High level of personal organisation and time management skills
- Ability to work with a range of people (apprentices, students, parents, employers and staff)
- Willingness to undertake ongoing training and development to pursue a career with AGA
- Cert II in Business Administration or equivalent is preferred
- Understanding and demonstration of a proactive approach to safety within their workplace

Applicants must be eligible to work in Australia. A current Working with Children and National Police Checks are required and can be arranged for the suitable applicant.
