- Full Time**Responsibilities include**:
**Operations**
- Handle inbound calls from customers, addressing their queries, providing product information, and assisting with order placement.
- Undertake outbound calls to follow up on quotes, orders, and maintain a proactive approach to customer service. This includes contacting customers who have not traded in some time and outbound calls as part of generating new business.
- Provide relief and backup personnel support to trade counter sales team during peak times, and a set amount of hours each week to ensure a smooth customer experience by providing product knowledge, processing transactions, and handling customer inquiries.
- Collaborate with sales representatives to handle special orders and prepare quotes for customers. Ensure all requests are processed efficiently to meet customer expectations.
- Assist in maintaining optimal stock levels by monitoring inventory, identifying slow-moving or obsolete items, and recommending appropriate actions to the branch manager.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with trade customers,
addressing their needs, resolving issues, and ensuring their overall satisfaction.
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly sales and ad-hoc reports as and when directed by the Branch Manager.

**To be considered for this role you will need**:
**Ideally you will have**:
- Similar work experience in a customer service retail role
- Exceptional communication skills with active listening ability
- Target driven towards increasing customer satisfaction and experience
- Familiarity with CRM systems and practices
- Excellent interpersonal skills suited to working a small team environment
- Strong organisational skills
- Numerical abilities and problem-solving attitudes
