Well respected, busy café on Bribie Island. Located at the Bribie Island Community Arts Centre, you will be surrounded by beautiful national park and work within a vibrant art community.

**Role**: As Cafe Coordinator you will be responsible for the rostering of Café staff, working within the café in a kitchen/barista role, and ensuring excellent customer service. Work alongside the Café manager, you will help and assist them where necessary.

**Hours**: Permanent Part Time - Monday - Friday 7.30am - 2.30pm, with flexibility for working the rostering element of the role at home or after hours.

**Responsibilities**:The Cafe Coordinator will be responsible in assisting in the day-to-day operations of a cafe. They will oversee staff, ensure excellent customer service, working on the front till, cooking lunches, making coffee and engaging with customers. As Cafe Coordinator you will be scheduling staff, resolving staffing issues and nurturing relationships.

To be successful in this role you should have work experience with various roles in coffee shops, be a people person and have excellent time management/coordinator skill.

**Requirements and skills**
- Work experience as a Cafe Coordinator or Barista
- Hands-on experience with professional coffee machines
- Availability to work within opening hours and flexible to work on-call or short notice
- Ability to work with various types of people and personalities
- Excellent communication skills and great customer service attitude
- Additional certification (e.g. in Business Administration or Hospitality) is a plus
- Food Safety Certificates mandatory
- Experience working with volunteers is a plus

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From $35,100.00 per year

Expected hours: 27.5 per week
