**Responsibilities**:

Personalised Support Systems are a growing organisation that are looking for an additional team leader to be the point of contact for participants, their families and support workers.
**Purpose of role**
- Building custom teams for our participants so we can assist them in the best way possible
- Building a superior workforce, with a focus on OH&S, retention
and staff development.
- Using qualifications and experience in the field to assist clients
with their goals.
- Playing a crucial role in the growth, profitability, and
sustainability of the business by helping to create and maintain
the best team and having a strategic approach to change
management.
**Core objectives include**:
- Assisting Admin team in the scheduling of fortnightly shifts
- Working in the field alongside new or less experienced staff to coach
them and help them refresh or improve their skills in managing
new and/or complex clients (shadow shifts)
- Attending Meet-and-Greets, Family Meetings and Plan
reviews as the Company’s representative
- Filling Disability Support shifts when and as required:
- Assisting participants to perform important daily activities
- Assisting with personal care and hygiene
- Performing home based tasks such as food preparation
and housework for participants
- Undertaking tasks with participants outside the home
such as shopping
- Ensuring a varied program of social activities for
participants
- Ensuring the Health and Safety of the workforce
- Building networks and contacts for Client Programs
- Calculating the costs of Client Program opportunities and related
supports to ensure benefit to both the Company and the
participant
- Developing mutual collaborations
- Structuring client days
- Overseeing staff documentation, including but not limited to:
Incident Reports
Shift Notes
New Employee Information Forms
Other Admin Tasks as required

**Qualifications**
- Degree level (desirable)
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- Current First Aid / CPR Certificate
- Working With Children Certificate (at least 3 months’ validity)
- NDIS workers screening check
- Experience - 2 years or more working in Youth / Disability sector
- Advanced level of experience with scheduling software (eg
Deputy/ Shiftcare)
- Knowledge - Extensive knowledge of NDIS
- Sound understanding of Human Resource Management
- Comprehensive knowledge of various computer programs
- MS Excel/Word/Powerpoint, Google Docs/Forms/Sheets
- Familiarity with SCHADS Award

**Technical proficiency**: high level of competency with
technology and ability to assist others with computers, tablets,
delivery of services.
**Communication**: the ability to communicate clearly and concisely,
varying communication style depending upon the audience
**Attention to detail**: excellent attention to detail and written
skills when communicating with others, both internally and
externally
commercial manner.
**Teamwork**: willingness to assist and support others as
required and get on with team members.
**Time management/organisation**: accomplish objectives
effectively within time frame given, and carry out
administrative duties within portfolio in an efficient and timely manner
