**About the role**

We are looking for a new Supervisor to join the MPS team to help manage our contract with one of Melbourne's most prestigious schools.

You will be responsible for overseeing the high level of cleaning provided to this school. Lead and supervise your team whilst working in a hands-on role.

**Key Details**:

- Full time role starting ASAP
- Monday to Friday
- Base rate + super

**Responsibilities**:

- Plans rosters and allocate CSE1 1 & CSE2 Cleaners
- Plans contractors or suppliers, client requirements
- Ensure attendance compliance for cleaners and contractors/suppliers (clock in/out times).
- Provide task instruction and on-the-job training
- Conduct inspections; maintain site records including audits, incidents, training, inductions, and risk assessments.
- Ensure PPE use and safe systems of work; investigate hazards and incidents and close out actions promptly.
- Understanding of cleaning tools
- Understanding of complex cleaning tools - Operation of ride-on equipment, steam/pressure cleaning, and specialist computer/equipment cleaning
- Maintaining cleaning equipment and maintenance schedules

**Skills and experience**:

- Supervisory experience with the ability to train and lead a team (essential)
- Strong cleaning background
- Customer service/client focused
- Sound understanding of OHS in the workplace preferred
- Strong communication skills with a good command of English
- High attention to detail when cleaning

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
