We are a Greek inspired gift store selling unique gifts and home decor in Ramsgate - Sydney.
This is a unique role where we are seeking a Marketing Assistant to assist with our ONLINE Shop, Social Media and Marketing for approx 2 days per week, one of those days being a Sunday. This role is unique as it will be based from our retail gift store in Ramsgate during retail hours. The main priority of this role is to be able to assist our customers in a retail setting and complete admin marketing tasks during the quiet times in store and work closely with the owner of the business to grow our online presence.

The successful applicant must firstly be willing to work from our retail store prioritising our customer base as well as have the skills to assist with all Admin and Marketing tasks. This is an interesting and varied role for the right person and ideally would suit a marketing student who is looking to grow their skills.

We are looking for someone who is able to work independently and hit the ground running. **Must be able to work Sundays and a minimum of one weekday.**

These duties will include
- Exceptional Customer Service and Selling Skills
- Assisting with other ad hoc duties as required (e.g. maintaining our online shop, taking photos of new arrivals, uploading to our online shop, updating the content of our online shop etc.
- Monitoring and replying to social media comments/tags as well as engaging with our target market and maintaining relationships with customers.
- Basic knowledge of a graphics program such a illustrator and canva is highly desirable

- This role would suit a student studying marketing who is interested in a varied role which involves both retail and marketing.

This role is initially a casual role with the potential of a permanent part-time role.
