**Description**:
This position directly supports our purpose and ensures our members can count on us to provide general advice regarding the continually changing rules and regulations of superannuation and directly contribute to Defence Banks strategy plan by building relevance across the members whole life financial journey.

**This specialist position is accountable for**:
Delivering Tier 1 member service to support member on-boarding, general advice related enquires and technical queries related to retirement products.
Managing high net worth members expectations regarding current interest rates and providing negotiated rates where appropriate.
Proactively advocating for and promoting Defence Bank by building relationships within Defence Community, Defence Industry Partners, and within the broader community to grow and build awareness of our service offerings and grow our member base.
Supporting the business to meet strategic initiatives and ad hoc requests as needed.

**Skills and Experiences**:
You are an experienced Retirement Savings Account specialist with a strong understanding of the banking environment in which Defence Bank operates. You will have the ability to multi-task with high attention to detail and the ability to see the big picture.

**You have**:
A sound knowledge of Retirement Savings Account and Superannuation regulations.
At least 2 years’ experience with Retirements Savings Accounts / Superannuation or similar.
Tier 1 qualified to provide general advice and maintain continuous learning for CPD accreditation.
Tertiary qualification in Business/Finance or superannuation preferred.

**Demonstrated experience or skills in**:
Achieving agreed goals in line with individual and team plans.
Building effective working relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
Sound presentation skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Management and resolution of customer complaints and enquiries.
Strong organisation and administration skills, with attention to detail for accuracy and quality.
Learning new concepts quickly.
Time management with the ability to work autonomously and handle unplanned interruptions.
