**About the role**
Are you ready to make an impact in a newly established team? We're looking for an Analyst, Continuous Improvement and Transformation to support the delivery of key initiatives and process improvements within a dynamic financial services environment
This brand-new role is pivotal in shaping operational efficiencies and supporting strategic initiatives.
The role works closely to support the Senior Business Manager and Manager, Continuous Improvement and Transformation to identify, prioritise and execute opportunities for continuous improvement, process re-engineering, and transformation initiatives across the enterprise. These initiatives support QIC’s strategic goals and contribute to building a culture focused on operational excellence.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Support the team to deliver a broad range of improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency, alignment, and overall performance in support of strategic goals.
- Assist with the co-ordination and management of the CFOO initiative pipeline and prioritisation process.
- Use structured improvement frameworks to identify opportunities to improve existing processes, ensuring that the appropriate risks and commercial priorities have been considered.
- Lead and support business analysis activities such as gap analysis, stakeholder interviews, requirements gathering, stakeholder mapping, data modelling, benefit identification, and scenario planning.
- Support the delivery of detailed process mapping and process design on various continuous improvement initiatives.
- Evaluate and recommend fit-for-purpose automation and digital solutions to enhance business processes.
- Develop and maintain reporting mechanisms, including dashboards to track initiative performance and measure the impact of continuous improvement efforts.
- Assist with the preparation and delivery of post implementation reviews to ensure initiatives have delivered intended benefits, impact and value.
- Establish and manage relationships with a broad variety of stakeholders across the enterprise to understand business needs and user requirements.
**About you**
You’re a proactive and analytical professional with a passion for business improvement and process optimisation. With 3-5 years of experience, you thrive in a corporate or professional services environment and bring a structured yet flexible approach to problem-solving.
You excel at process mapping (Visio), have a working knowledge of automation tools, and understand continuous improvement principles. More than just technical skills, you’re adept at engaging with stakeholders at all levels, adjusting your communication style to ensure effective collaboration.
In this role, you’ll take ownership of key initiatives, juggling multiple priorities with strong organisational and time management skills. You’re someone who thinks ahead, makes judgment calls with confidence, and embraces continuous learning as part of a small, high-impact team.
**Essential**
- Tertiary education in a business or technical related discipline.
- Proven expertise in business analysis with a specific focus on process mapping, modelling techniques, and continuous improvement.
- Advanced Microsoft Office Skills (Excell, PowerPoint, Word).
- Experience with process automation.
- Skilled in the use of process mapping software (e.g., MS Visio).
- Exposure in the delivery of enterprise operational change initiatives within a complex and fast paced working environment.
- Demonstrated involvement in end-to-end change or transformation initiatives (stakeholder communication, business analysis, solution development, implementation, and BAU handover).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven experience managing a variety of stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- High attention to detail
**Preferred**:
- Continuous improvement mindset with a passion for operational excellence.
- Familiarity with Lean Six Sigman or other structured improvement methodologies
- Exposure to project and initiative manage4ment methodologies
