**What this opportunity involves**:
We are on the lookout for an experienced professional to join our Melbourne based team to become our new Utility Analyst on behalf of JLL. The Utility Analyst Position is a part-time role, as part of JLL’s Energy and Sustainability Services (ESS) team and will see you working on environmental reporting and sustainability management across one of the most significant office accommodation portfolios in Victoria, spanning over 1M square meters across 300 owned and leased properties.

Predominantly managing utility accounts and payments, you will play a key role in delivering JLL’s scope of service.

**An Overview of the role**:
Managing and overseeing accurate utility invoice payment and approval,
Billing reconciliation and data capture within the JLL data management systems.
Facilitating the connections and disconnections of new and existing utility accounts within the client property portfolio.
Ongoing review and management of all utility accounts and aged debt,
Management of the third-party vendor and associated investigations
Accruals and budget estimation management, as required
Development and ongoing management of the annual utility budget for the account
Ongoing management of invoice validation for reimbursement by the client
Stakeholder management and engagement in relation to utility account data queries
Ensuring data is maintained to a consistently high standard, compliance with client requirements, is accurate and integrated, does not contain any contradictory information, and can be used for internal and external reporting.
Contribute to the analysis of energy consumption, costs and energy efficiency opportunities within the broader sustainability team.

**Sounds like you? This is what we are looking for**:
Tertiary qualifications in finance related field are desirable but not mandatory. Demonstrable experience within a similar role will be well regarded.
Proven experience working in corporate sustainability, utilities, government, or sustainability consulting within operational environments. Demonstrable experience within a similar role will be well regarded.
A demonstrated aptitude for the interpretation and analysis of numerical data
The ability to extract and analyse data into clear and logical reports with a particular attention to detail.
Proficient in the use of the MS Office product suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, particularly Excel with a knowledge of pivot tables, lookups, complex formulas
A strong ability to engage with a range of stakeholders.
Ability to prioritise workload in a high pressure, deadline driven work environment.
Promotes open, constructive and collaborative relations with colleagues and clients.
