We are a diverse group of people who all live by the motto: Laughter is brightest in the place where the food is As an IKEA Food Co-worker your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: - Ensuring your area is efficiently maintained in compliance with Food standards by keeping it clean, organised, attractive and inviting to provide a positive customer experience. - Food preparation, cooking, serving and customer service with a focus on food safety, controlling waste, and following production levels and cooking methods. - Processing dishes and maintaining the washing up area and machines whilst supporting and maintaining the cleanliness of the customer restaurant. - Active selling, cash handling, operation of ovens & fryers. - Ensuring your area is efficiently maintained in compliance with Food standards by keeping it clean, organised, attractive and inviting to provide a positive customer experience. - Food preparation and customer service with a focus on food safety, controlling waste, and following production levels. - Clearing tables, wiping down benchtops and stocktake. **Who you are**- As an IKEA Food Co-worker you are and/or have: - Experienced with working in a fast paced, hands-on environment and high-volume food business. - Previous hospitality and cookery experience is highly regarded. - Self-reliant and self-motivated with a proven ability to work as part of a team as well as independently - Enthusiastic about working within a team of like-minded people. - Ensures own development through building competence and contribute to a high performing team. - Passionate, committed, and have a love for food in its quality and presentation. - Able to follow strict IKEA Food and HACCP policies and daily operational routines around quality and food safety, including temperature and date checks. **We need people like you**- At IKEA, work is so much more than a job.
