**Job Title: Warehouse Team Leader**

Join our team as a Warehouse Team Leader and take charge of the implementation and management of controlled warehousing. As a Warehouse Team Leader, your key responsibilities will include:

- Leading the implementation and management of controlled warehousing systems
- Maintaining safety standards within the warehouse
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and vision, and departmental adherence to procedures
- Overseeing basic operations such as receiving, warehousing, distribution, and product maintenance
- Driving improved housekeeping through continuous collaboration with onsite teams
- Adhering to all warehousing, handling, and shipping legislation laws and requirements
- Taking full ownership of stock control and warehouse organization, leading teams in stock takes
- Demonstrating due diligence in all aspects of warehouse performance
- Developing, coaching, and motivating employees

**Qualifications**:
To be successful in this role, you should have:

- Experience in warehouse practices
- Proven ability to implement and carry out improvement initiatives
- Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Familiarity with warehouse inventory management software and databases

**Company Information**:
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Warehouse Team Leader will have direct responsibility for the Warehousing function of the site and the team of packers in the furniture industry. This role involves looking after a team in the Emu Plains warehouse, including goods receipt, inventory management, material call-offs, shipping/delivery coordination, and problem resolution.
