**Purpose of the Disability Service Manager role**
As the Service Manager, you play a vital role in bringing Achieve Australia's South East Queensland vision to life. **Role Responsibilities**:As a Service Manager, you will:
- Hold acccountability for customer, staff, quality and financial outcomes.
- Manage site finances and accounts aligned to the budget and P&L, including managing site rostering, SIL and household operating accounts and ensuring client personal finances are managed and recorded appropriately.
- Manage quality and safeguarding responsibilities for the site and clients ensuring staff are appropriately trained, meet NDIS practice standard requirements, incidents, complaints and feedback, and risks are documented and managed.
- Embed a culture of continuous improvement, active support and client safeguarding improving practices and culture to protect, clients, children and other vulnerable people from harm and neglect and help maximise positive client outcomes.
- Proactively manage positive stakeholder and client relationships as key contact and liaison for clients and families, management, managing service entry and exit, data collection and evidence for client SIL planning and contributing to plan review.
- Drive workforce management, identifying and actioning staff vacancies, supporting onboarding, compliance and training activity, supervision, performance management and development, leave management, and grievances.
- Manage employee engagement, morale and promote a positive employee experience for all staff within their site.
- Proactively manage WHS including timely actioning and resolution of workers compensation matters, hazard and Incident identification, reporting, and resolution and WHS Training and Compliance is maintained.
- Support with an on-call rotating roster for nights and weekends.
**To be successful in this role, you will need**:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent (Disability, Nursing or related).
- Understanding of NDIS, the principles of active support and human rights-based approach to service delivery and experience managing multi-site accommodation service.
- Ability to transform the performance and culture in the workplace, with a commitment to client outcomes and a positive employee experience.
- Proficient computer literacy skills including MS Office Suite, HRIS and CMS systems.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- Current QLD Drivers’ License and blue card.
