**Senior Disability Support Worker - **Several Casual Positions are available in Mount Gravatt**
- Able to work across 24/7 roster
- Experience in managing participants who require support with complex care and high physical needs

**About you**

To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to have demonstrated experience providing support to participants with high complex needs and have the following skills and attributes:

- Very fluent in English
- Minimum Certificate III in Disability, or Individual Support
- Experience within the industry (eg. disability, mental health, aged care, individual support, community services etc.)
- Experience in supporting clients with stoma care, epilepsy and manual handling (Desirable)
- Experience in working with clients with behaviours of concern and subsequent reporting
- Clear and effective communication skills and ability to establish a professional relationship with participant and their families
- Attention to detail and accuracy in the record management
- First Aid and CPR training or willing to obtain one
- Current Open Driver’s License (**mandatory**)

**About the role**

We are seeking permanent part time Disability Support Workers who have experience in supporting participants with high complex needs. You will work in a Supported Independent Living (SIL) to support those with medical needs and significant manual handling requirement to live in an environment that maximises personal growth and independence.

Our senior support workers enable our participants to shape and improve their lives. They create opportunities, are champions of connecting their abilities, and inspire partnerships of support that encourage every individual to realise the full potential.
