**About Koala Farms**

We are a family owned business and a leading producer in the horticultural industry and produce on properties in the Lockyer Valley and the Darling Downs. We provide year-round production to chain stores and wholesale markets on the east coast of Australia.

**About the Role**

As our business is growing, we have opportunities for you to build a career within our business starting as a farm hand and being part of our production team. On our farms, the production team is responsible for ground preparation, irrigation work, and general farm work. If you demonstrate the type of qualities and skills we are looking for, there are opportunities for further development and growth in our Harvesting team as Harvesting Team Leaders and Harvesting Forklift Drivers.

**The successful applicant will need**:

- Previous horticultural experience
- Tractor and farm machinery experience
- Forklift ticket
- Chem Cert Certificate (desired)
- GPS knowledge (desired)
- Possess a strong work ethic and have a high degree of integrity
- Be able to work independently or as part of a team
- Supervisory experience (desired)
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment
- Computer skills would be advantageous
- Must have own transport

You will be paid under the Koala Farms Enterprise Agreement on an hourly rate of $34.85.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $34.85 - $37.00 per hour
