**About the Role**
Make your mark with a leading brand
We're looking for an experienced Trade & Merchandising Lead to drive product discovery, conversion, and trade performance across our digital experience. Leading a team of four, you'll own end-to-end merchandising and content—from new product onboarding and enrichment to campaign delivery and A/B testing. This role blends creativity with commercial acumen, ensuring an intuitive and inspiring customer journey. In 2025, you'll lead key initiatives to unlock incremental growth through data-backed merchandising, setting the foundations for success in the future. **Key Responsibilities**:
**Team leadership and operational excellence**
- Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team of four, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Evaluate and improve merchandise planning systems and workflows, driving efficiency and operational excellence.
**Storefront merchandising strategy & execution**
- Define and implement the merchandising strategy aligned to business goals, seasonality, and promotional campaigns.
- Own homepage, category, and landing page content and layout - ensuring they reflect key trading priorities and brand guidelines.
- Define an optimisation and testing approach for merchandising and campaign activity to drive continuous improvement in conversion rate and commercial outcomes.
**Trade planning & performance**
- Maintain an actionable trade calendar and drive key seasonal and promotional events from a merchandising standpoint.
- Contribute to weekly trade meetings with merchandising analysis to drive decision making
- Lead weekly merchandising team meetings to surface insights, actions, and decision tracking
**Product Content & Experience Management**
- Ensure product data, imagery, and copy meet quality standards and support discovery, comparison, and conversion.
- Partner with Paid Performance on SEO to ensure product content is optimised for organic search.
- Identify gaps and opportunities in product range and deliver a quarterly brief to Supply with input from Paid Performance and Marketing.
**Experience and Skills Required**
- 6+ years experience in e-commerce (B2C, retail or marketplace preferred)
- Previous experience in managing direct reports
- Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing ecommerce merchandising strategies that drive revenue growth and improve customer experience.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience with personalisation and audience targeting principles highly regarded.
- Proven experience in digital analytics tools (GA and Tableau highly regarded)
