**Our Centre**:
Pitt Street Kindy is a 49 place family owned long day care centre. We are a reputable Service that is dedicated to providing high quality care and education for children aged from six weeks to six years of age. Our Service is open from Monday to Friday between the hours of 7:30am - 6.00pm, 51 weeks of the year, excluding public holidays.

**About the role**:
We are offering an opportunity for a traineeship in Early Childhood Education and Care (Certificate III). This role will be contracted from 22.5 to 30 hours per week, which will be negotiated with the successful applicant.

**Criteria**:
We are seeking a committed employee with:

- Willingness to obtain a Working With Children Check before commencement
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Ability to study the theory components of a traineeship while working
- Flexibility and availability in additional shifts and alternating rosters
- Genuine interest in pursuing a career in early childhood
- Ability to follow directions and be enthusiastic in learning all aspects of early childhood education.
- Strong work ethic and reliable transport as shifts often vary.
- Strong commitment to the entire length of the traineeship.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Apprenticeship
Part-time hours: 30 per week

**Salary**: Up to $50,000.00 per year
