Alpha College of Australia is a privately owned Registered Training Organisation (RTO) based in CBD Sydney and is experiencing growth in RII60520 Civil Construction and Design enrolments.

**About the role**:
We are seeking a qualified Trainer and Assessor to deliver RII60520 - Advanced Diploma of Civil Construction Design at Sydney Campus.

**Key responsibilities of this role will vary according to teaching load, and include but are not limited to the following**:

- Provide training & assessment, and student services that adhere to access and equity principles, meet individual student needs, and maximize student outcomes.
- Conduct assessments and make decisions in accordance with assessment principles and rules of evidence.
- Validate, moderate, and continuously improve assessment tools and processes, and moderate assessment decisions.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to maintain current VET knowledge and skills, industry skills/vocational competence, and trainer/assessor competence.
- Participate in and represent Alpha College of Australia at marketing events as required.

**Skills and qualifications required for this role**:

- Certificate IV in TAE40122 or TAE40116, including TAEASS502 and TAELLN401 units
- Diploma or higher-level qualification in adult education
- RII60520 Advanced Diploma of Civil Construction Design
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant industry experience
- Experience in training and assessment within the VET sector is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $44.63 - $65.38 per hour
