Our client is a junior mining company with beautiful offices located in the heart of the CBD. Due to some movement on their team, they require an immediately available accounts payable officer to join their close knit team. Reporting directly to the financial controller, you will be responsible to providing financial, administrative and clerical support within the Accounts Payable team. This is a temp to perm opportunity with contract length initially to be set at 6 months.

**Duties Include**:

- Ensuring the accurate and timely processing of invoices.
- Ensuring all invoices are paid within the required terms;
- Reconciliation of accounts and resolving invoice queries;
- Ensuring correct coding and allocations to various cost centers;
- Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments;
- Post transactions to journals, ledgers and other records;
- Maintain vendor files, correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries;
- Produce financial and management reports as required;
- Following up of missing invoices;
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders;
- Any other duties incidental to the above.

**About You**:

- Proven experience using accounting software and systems; (Pronto highly desirable)
- Strong numeracy skills;
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy;
- Strong organisational and planning skills;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders;
