Accounts Payable Clerk

**Responsibilities**

The main responsibilities of this role will include:

- Code and verify invoices
- Obtain internal authorisations on invoices
- Processing authorised supplier invoices
- Reconcile supplier statements, dealing with discrepancies
- Process payments online
- Liaise with suppliers on their accounts and advise them when they can expect payment
- Produce regular ageing report for review
- Maintain Company Motor Vehicle Register and associated motor vehicle outgoings (registration, tolls, fuel and repairs)
- Ensure electronic filing is up to date
- Identify process improvement opportunities

**Experience and Capabilities**
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent data entry skills
- Strong account reconciliation skills
- Able to multi-task, work independently and maintain composure in a busy environment
- Capable of working independently and as part of a team
- Ability to prioritise and manage time to meet deadlines and expectations
- Competency in Accounting packages, Pronto preferably but not essential and Microsoft office products, specifically Outlook, Excel & Word
- Must be initiative-taking, eager to learn and willing to take on new challenges

Part-time hours: 25-38 per week

**Salary**: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
