**About the Client**

Dulwich Bakery is an award-winning neighbourhood bakery, with a reputation for the highest quality cakes, pies and pasties around Dulwich Bakery has 12 convenient locations around Adelaide in addition to their Bakehouse and central office in Beverley which produces most of the items in the stores.

**About the Position**:
Reporting to the Managing Director, the Bookkeeper will be responsible for the day-to-day financial and payroll coordination and is instrumental in ensuring the organisation’s financial and legal obligations are fulfilled.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage and oversee debtor and creditor accounts through SAP (Business One).
- Act as back for clerical staff member (one), back for SAP production system.
- Manage electronic payments.
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and the allocation of payments.
- Manage cash flow and forecasting
- Prepare monthly accounts for management team - generate P & L monthly and present variance analysis
- Follow up overdue payments. (Very few debtor accounts)
- Process payroll and other related payroll tasks (approximately 4 -2 hours per week).
- Reconciliation of accounts and bank transactions.
- Data entry - for supply invoices - large part of the role
- requirements, single touch payroll employee and superannuation requirements (STP) via the ATO business portal.
- HR and office administrative tasks.
- Maintain accurate lists / records of suppliers and customer details where applicable.
- Be a positive, collaborative team member putting hands up to support others wherever able.
- Provide backup support for the Production Manager and administration functions, on occasion.

**About You**:
To be successful in the role you will demonstrate:

- Relevant qualification (accounting, bookkeeping, finance), preferred
- Essential to have the experience of producing and balancing P&L and Balance Sheet
- Experience in a similar role (ie accounts receivable/payable and payroll)
- High level of attention to detail
- Fast learner and ability to pick up new technologies/systems.
- Ability to solve problems / logical thinker.
- Strong level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a broader team.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. (With 140 employees and a small management team, communication and “warm” interpersonal interaction is essential)
- Exposure to the wholesale and retail industry.
- Must have a flexible approach
