**The organization**:
JK is partnering with the market-leader in sustainable packing solutions for the beverage industry across Australia and New Zealand. They specialise in glass bottles, aluminum cans and closures. They support the entire beverage industry from craft brewers who are just starting out on their journey through to major companies with operations across the globe. Our client is expanding and introducing a second manufacturing line. We are looking for the right Shift fitters to join the team.

**The Role**:
You will be reporting to the shift supervisor, working in a team of 2. You would be responsible for maintaining the safety, quality, and manufacturing standards. You would be required to work on a rotating 12hr shift (6am-6pm & 6pm-6am).

**Duties**:

- Maintaining safety, quality, and manufacturing standards
- Performing changeovers, trouble shooting, machine adjustments and basic maintenance tasks
- Attending to mechanical breakdowns on shift
- Reading & following SOP’s

**Skills & Experience**:

- Trade qualified Fitter
- 3 years mechanical experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment
- Excellent communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills
- Availability to work across 24hr rotating shift patterns

**Benefits**
- 7-day roster allows for condensed working weeks - this gives you 3 to 4 days off each week, and every second weekend off.
- Any hours worked beyond normal roster paid at double time, further increasing your earning capacity
