Our client is seeking in-home teaching (home schooling) from 2 x special education teachers / teacher aides (to form an education/learning support team) for a children with divergent learning needs during school hours (1) and after hours.

Our client’s child is active, intelligent, caring, communicative and thoroughly enjoys learning with other like-minded individuals that can confidently discuss a broad range of topics with ease. He enjoys history (for primary aged students), math, science and generally exhibits a very inquisitive nature with a passion for understanding the ‘workings of everything’.

Required skills:

- A Bachelor of Education (with special needs certification) OR Demonstrated experience in working with children with special needs (ideally ASD/ADHD) - min. 5 years
- Demonstrated experience in developing school based programs for children with divergent needs
- Work with the school to ensure that school-based activities are achieved
- Demonstrated experience in working with primary aged children within the Australian curriculum guidelines (for year level from grade 4 to grade 9)
- Ability to work within a 2-person team based from our client’s home to not only teach during school hours yet support after hours through to 6pm (Monday-Thursday)
- Current QLD Driver’s licence
- WWC / Blue card

**Salary**: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 24 - 38 per week

**Benefits**:

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
