This role is a permanent role based at the Melton Civic Centre, working along with key business units across the organisation. Come and contribute to one of the fastest growing Councils by providing expert advice on economic development, reform and strategic revenue initiatives. **Key Responsibilities** - Provide expert economic and revenue analysis to support Council policy, strategy, and investment decisions. - Develop and maintain financial and economic models, including forecasts and trend analysis. - Advise on economic reform opportunities, strategic revenue initiatives, and commercial investment projects. - Support strategic internal reviews, and stakeholder engagement to drive improved outcomes for Council. To view the **Position Description**, click **here**. **About you** **_ To be successful in this role you will have the following:_** - Tertiary qualification with several years’ of relevant experience or lesser formal qualifications with extensive relevant experience. - Formal training or certification in economic modelling, forecasting, or financial analysis (e.g., CBA, CGE, or Excel-based modelling tools) is highly regarded. - Demonstrated analytical and investigative skills to enable the formulation of policy options within a broad organisation-wide framework. - Sound understanding of the long-term goals of the wider organisation and the legal and political context of which Council operates within. **Culture and Values** Our vision for our community is to be: "A vibrant, safe and liveable city accessible to all" and that means there’s a place here for you too.
