Commercial Specialist Role in Public Sector Organisation

**Your new organisation**

This Government Trading Enterprise’s objective is to improve the lives of the community and their customers. They currently have a vacancy for a Commercial Specialist to join them for a 12-month contract.

**Your new role**

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, this position is responsible for the provision of commercial support. Key duties will include;
- Provision of commercial support in development of trade proposals
- Represent the organisation in commercial negotiations
- Develop and deliver property leases and licences
- Manage existing and development of new leases and licences.

**What you’ll need to succeed**

To be successful, you will have extensive experience in commercial negotiations and the management of leases, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills. In addition, a legal background will be highly regarded.

**What you’ll get in return**

In return, you will have a 12-month fixed-term contract, with the possibility of extension. Further details include:

- 2 days working from home per week
- 37.5-hour work week
- Flexible start and finish times
- Salary of $137,000 + superannuation
