**The Opportunity**
We currently have an opportunity for an experienced and sales-driven Account Manager to join our Sales team in Warwick Farm to help drive sales of our product in the domestic channel in New South Wales.
In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for managing effective relationships with Daikin’s current dealers, as well as seeking and developing new accounts to add to the Daikin dealer portfolio.
Reporting to the State Manager, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Manage existing portfolio of Daikin dealers, domestic customers, and trade accounts by maintaining strong long-term relationships that are mutually beneficial.
- Analyse market activity and trends to develop sales plan that target opportunities for sales growth in the region.
- Develop and maintain a call cycle plan to ensure all dealer accounts are regularly contacted.
- Provide dealers with up-to-date product information and marketing promotions to maximise sales.
- Manage individual sales budget to meet sales target.
- Collaborate effectively with internal departments to ensure all dealer queries are addressed and resolved in a timely manner.
- Collaborate effectively with the sales team to meet requirements for projects and quotes.
**The person**:
To be successful in this role, it would be desirable to have:
- A trade qualification in Air-conditioning and Refrigeration and/or tertiary business-related qualifications.
- At least 3 years’ experience in the HVAC or related industry. Specific knowledge of the NSW HVAC market will be highly advantageous.
- A proven track record in sales and managing large accounts.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and build relationships with clients at all levels.
- A high level of influencing, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- The ability to develop solid knowledge of the customer base, In-store sales, customer capability, target markets, and the dynamics of each customer
- A firm understanding of market dynamics and competitors.
