**The company**:
Our client is a market leader internationally in their field. They have a team of talented technologists working across ANZ, building complex software that drives the energy industry. An opportunity to grow their team has presented itself and they are looking for a Team Lead.Net engineer to join them on a permanent basis

**The role**:
In this role you will lead a team of.Net engineers, working with the company's cloud software hosted on Azure, encouraging best practice, leveraging SOLID principles, with a focus on quality and excellent delivery for your customers. This role will be a combination of programming/ technical leadership as well as taking time to grow & mentor the existing team to ensure they are able to deliver the best outcomes possible.

**Responsibilities**:

- Leading a team of software engineers to deliver high quality software
- Building software leveraging modern.Net and Azure technologies
- Liaising with stakeholders in the business to understand requirements
- Work with your team to identify areas of technical improvement within the system and strive for best practice and best technical outcomes
- Collaborate with the software architect to ensure software development plans are aligned with architectural strategy

**Experience**:

- 5 + years of development experience in.NET
- Ability to support and lead senior software engineers
- A passion for problem solving and interest in complex problems
- Demonstrated experience in relational databases such as MS SQL or MongoDB

You'll work ~2 days / week in their Fortitude Valley office located near to the train station and restaurants for lunch, with the balance of the week working from home, with a high level of flexibility with your time each day.

The offices are near new with state of the art facilities and a great, fully stocked kitchen and professional coffee machine. You'll work with the greater business across a range of domains and skills, getting exposure to very interesting problems and solutions to grow your experience and learn from excellent peers
