**Role Description/Criteria**

The successful applicant will:

- promote contemporary and innovative practices with a particular focus in the area of Visual Arts
- develop and maintain positive, caring relationships with students, staff and parents
- require excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- require a strong commitment to the Catholic Identity of the school
- have a commitment to the ongoing professional learning and continuing development of a positive school culture
- plan and implement a highly structured program in the Visual Arts
- cater for a range of student needs through differentiation
- work and plan collaboratively with others
- encourage a growth mindset in students
- provide holistic, challenging and engaging learning experiences

**Requirements**:

- VIT registration
