Female Casual Disability Support Worker

My Disability Care is a NDIS-registered provider with offices in Brisbane and Hervey Bay. We’re looking for caring and reliable support workers to join our growing team.

This role is perfect for someone who wants to make a real difference in the lives of people with disability, including those with complex mental health needs or Alzheimer’s. You’ll be helping participants both at home and out in the community.

**About the Role**:

- Job Type: Casual
- Salary: $34.44 per hour (plus applicable penalty rates)
- Work Location: Alderley (In person)

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide personalised in-home care and community access support to children/adults,
- Implement care strategies to support participants with complex mental health needs.
- Assist with daily living tasks, personal care, and engagement in community activities.
- Build trusting relationships and promote independence and wellbeing.

**To be considered, you must have**:

- Certificate III in Disability, Individual Support, or equivalent
- Experience supporting participants with complex mental health needs
- Experience providing care to both children and adults, including in-home and community access support
- Availability to work outside of school hours (including evenings and weekends)
- Current Driver’s Licence (mandatory)
- Own reliable transport with full comprehensive insurance and current registration (mandatory)

**Mandatory Requirements (or willingness to obtain)**:

- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- NDIS Orientation Module certificate
- Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
- National Criminal History Check (as required)
