We have an excellent opportunity for a Commercial Manager - Retail who will support our General Manager Paul Whitaker with the day to day running of the finance and compliance function across the Hudson Mitre10 NSW/ACT business.

With your strong commercial acumen, you will own the reporting function providing commercial and financial oversight across the Hudson business.

This is an excellent opportunity to further your commercial experience partnering with the Senior leadership team.

What you'll do
- Provide support and guidance to the State Leadership Group and other Key Managers
- Provide proactive Analysis on all business areas as required in particular Sales and EBIT
- Preparation of financial budgets and reports in conjunction with the Mitre10 Finance Team
- Lead the business to deliver best practise Inventory and Asset management
- Prepare business documentation such as Project Plans, Business Cases and Advisory Board Packs
- Manage all localised IT related matters

What you'll bring
- Ability to build and maintain relationships throughout the business
- Extensive knowledge of Retail Business Systems
- Executive briefing experience: ability to summarise data providing creditable and business beneficial top line recommendations
- Advanced computing skills with specific reference to Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated retail analytics with specific reference to cost, contracts, and margin management
- Strong ability to communicate, educate and influence decisions
- Ability to lead and develop a team in a fast-changing environment

To succeed in this role, it is not a requirement to have a CPA/CA qualification although tertiary qualifications in Business or Commerce will support you in achieving results in this role.
