**About the**Centre for Research and Education in Diabetes and Obesity**
- CREDO**is located at the Repatriation Hospital Campus of Austin Health and is tiered within the Medical Services Division. CREDO has a strong and successful history in conducting numerous clinical trials in metabolic disorders with most trials focusing on diabetes and obesity. The atmosphere within CREDO is energetic, friendly and cohesive, with a strong teamwork ethic amongst all members. We have a strong focus on continual improvement and professional development.

**About the role**
- CREDO continues to grow and thrive, enabling an Endocrinology Research Registrar to join the team in a part-time fixed term position. We are seeking someone for 24 hours per week.

A regular day will see you:

- Ensuring that all CREDO Unit requirements for acting as a Clinical Trials Sub-Investigator are met (i.e. GCP training etc.)
- Attend CREDO Clinical Clinics as sub-investigator Monday to Friday (5 morning sessions per week) to ensure appropriate participant recruitment and management throughout trial process
- Supervision of patient accrual, data collection and assisting data analysis for patients participating in clinical trials
- Work closely with other members of the Clinical Trials Unit and sponsors to ensure that data of the highest quality is collected, Good Clinical Practice is performed, and protocols are followed.

- You will be someone who has excellent communication skills, with a strong commitment to excellence in patient care. You’ll bring energy and drive to your work, and have a keen interest in developing your skillset.

To be successful in this role you’ll bring with you:

- Must be a registered Medical Practitioner in Australia with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Up-to-date knowledge and skills in diabetes and obesity, as appropriate
- Demonstrates the ability to work in teams and collaborate
