My Client, a Canberra based members' bank is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Personal Banker.

As a Personal Banker, you will play a vital role in contributing to the growth of our region by proactively engaging with members, delivering timely and professional advice, and managing ongoing relationships. You will be engaged in the Consumer Lending portfolio, including Credit Cards and Personal Loans. In addition, you will identify and refer Home Lending opportunities to the appropriate specialists within the organisation.

**Your new role**

Personal Bankers are also responsible for New Memberships, Deposit Accounts, General Insurance, and referrals to the Retirement Product Specialist.

In addition, Personal Bankers undertake generalist branch activities (e.g. process counter transactions) that result in the achievement of performance targets across a variety of measures including sales outcomes, portfolio growth, member experience satisfaction results, compliance, and service delivery.

You are passionate about customers, and bring professionalism and an ambition to help create financial growth for members with you every day. Beyond these innate qualities, you demonstrate:

- Exceptional customer service and sales skills.
- Experience in customer service and sales, preferably in retail banking
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work effectively with others, both in person and remotely.
- Demonstrated ability to build rapport and understand member needs.
- Problem identification and solving abilities
- Year 12 or equivalent
