**About the WesTrac Apprenticeship Program**
- An Apprenticeship with WesTrac allows you to earn while you learn. Apprenticeships last for a 4-year period and upon completion you will have gained a nationally recognised trade qualification and a wealth of both business and industry exposure.

**As an Apprentice Boilermaker you will learn how to**:

- Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Inspect a vast range of Caterpillar Mobile Plant equipment parts and components
- Operate welding equipment
- Perform a range of welding techniques such as MIG, TIG and arc
- Weld parts for machine rebuilds
- Fabricate parts and attachments for new machine builds
- Safely operate workshop equipment such as forklifts, overhead cranes and tools
- Maintain a safe working environment
- Navigate Caterpillar systems to ensure all work is done in accordance with Caterpillar’s quality standard

**About You**:

- 16 years of age or over by December 9th, 2025
- Great communication, reading and writing skills
- Interest and passion for machinery and hands on learning
- Drivers licence and reliable transport OR close to obtaining drivers licence with ability to get to and from work each day and to a local TAFE for training (approx. 1 day per week)
- Honest and reliable nature with a team orientated mindset
