Experienced Male Support Care Worker

Seven Angels Care And Support Services is a NDIS registered company and looking for well experienced male support care workers for Clayton area.
- **Must have valid Drivers' license, car and comprehensive car insurance.**:

- **Having a positive attitude toward physical fitness and being enthusiastic about workouts is an added advantage.**:

- **Availability on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday afternoons**.

**General duties include;**
- Assistance with activities of daily living and support at gym
- Provide personal care and support and assistance to individuals in their own homes
- Transport to and from different appointments and social outings
- Supporting people with complex needs

**To be successful you will need**:

- An understanding of delivering care in a person centered way.
- A positive, reliable, empathetic approach to support people of all ages and backgrounds living with a disability
- Availability and to be reliable & punctual.
- Clear and effective communication skills and ability to speak another language is highly desirable
- The ability to problem solve and keep strictly to the program and routine
- Ability to engage positively with a variety of personality types
- Ability to fulfill shift duties and have excellent time management skills
- Have appropriate visa to work in Australia
- Have an empathetic and understanding approach to providing care to people with complex needs including mental health
- Must be a competent and knowledgeable cook

**Required qualifications**
- Minimum of one year experience in relevant field
- Certificate 111 or above in disability, aged care, community care with minimum 6 months work experience
- Victorian Full drivers' license or valid Australian license.
- Current Police check within the last 12 months or willingness to obtain prior to employment
- Working with Children Check (WWC)
- NDIS worker screening check (NDIS-WC)
- Smart phone with the ability to install apps
- Current first aid/CPR certificate
- Drivers license and own fully insured transport
- Completion of the NDIS new worker module or willingness to complete as part of the organizations induction process.
- Manual Handling training (or willing to obtain)
- International Police check (if applicable)
- COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate or Immunization evidence

- Flexibility around availability is essential in this role, with the ability to work variety of shifts
