Campbelltown, Australia South West Periodontics Full time

**Specialist Periodontist Practice in Campbelltown.**

We require a casual dental assistant to support the team on Thursday, 8:00am - 5:30pm.

**Role**:

- Assisting the Periodontist with clinical treatment
- Charting and note taking
- Preparation of the dental surgery for procedures
- Sterilisation
- Demonstrates collegiality in the workplace to support the running of the day

**Key Skills**:

- Ability to establish positive relationships with patients and staff
- Demonstrated aptitude for fast learning and consistent reliability.
- Compassionate and empathetic approach.
- Enthusiastic and positive demeanour.
- Effective verbal and written communication abilities.

**Experience & Qualifications**:

- Experience in dental assisting is a must.
- Experience in surgical/hospital settings is preferred.
- Updated vaccination records required.
- Knowledge of infection control policies and procedures, for example reprocessing equipment and hand hygiene.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $30.00 - $37.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 8 per week

Work Location: In person

Expected Start Date: 24/10/2024
