**Job Title: Bookkeeper**

**Location: Perth, Western Australia**

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Financial Record Keeping**:Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software.
Record day-to-day financial transactions, including purchases, expenses, receipts, and sales.

**Bank Reconciliation**:Reconcile bank statements with the general ledger to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.

**Accounts Payable and Receivable**:Process invoices, payments, and receipts in a timely manner.
Monitor and follow up on outstanding payments and receivables.

**Payroll Processing**:Ensure accurate and timely processing of employee payroll, including deductions, benefits, and taxes.

**Financial Reporting**:Generate and analyze financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Provide regular financial reports to management for decision-making purposes.

**Compliance**:Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
Assist with the preparation of financial statements for audits.

**Communication**:Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and provide support as needed.
Communicate financial information to management in a clear and understandable manner.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of Australian accounting standards and regulations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

**Education and Certification**:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification (e.g., Certified Bookkeeper) is a plus.

**Salary**: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
