Disability Support Worker

We are seeking Support Workers to join our team to support a young lady in the Midvale area.

She is a lovely individual a caring nature, well established with his loving family and a desire to expand her world.

She has some difficulties with emotional regulation, boundaries and asserting herself. As such she is ideally seeking someone she can build trust with and see as a mentor for health expression and growth.

This Lady requires support during the day and in the evening.

You will provide in-home support, and promote healthy daily living, as well as social and community participation.

To be successful in this role, you will be willing to patient, kind and gentle. Follow established process and procedure, promote positive interactions and be willing to be flexible to meet the needs of the family and member.

It is also beneficial to have experience with emotional regulation but training is provided as the needs of our members are always individualised

**Essential Requirements**:

- Enthusiastic and engaging
- Excellent communication skills
- Understanding of professional boundaries and privacy and confidentiality issues
- Reliable
- A proactive approach to the safety and well-being of yourself and Members
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to provide prior to commencing employment)
- NDIS Module (or willingness to obtain)
- Australian Drivers Licence with no restrictions and your own vehicle
