Chief's Son Distillery is a vibrant family-owned and operated, small-batch, single malt whisky distillery located on Australia's beautiful Mornington Peninsula in Somerville.

The Chief's Son business is experiencing rapid growth and is a prominent player in the craft spirit whisky category. We are searching for the right dynamic individual to join us for the next part of our exciting whisky journey.

About The Role

A full time Administration/Reception role based at our site in Somerville. Your role is to create and maintain a pleasant work environment, ensuring high levels of organisational effectiveness, communication and a collaborative approach in a small office environment with a variety of individuals.

Day to Day:

- Administration
- Reception Duties
- Tasting Room Sales and customer engagement
- Accounts payable and receivable
- Customer Invoicing
- Booking management
- Processing orders
- Stationery and office supplies management
- Freight & Logistics management
- Provide ongoing support and assistance

What we’re looking for?
- Experience working in Administration for at least 1 year
- Personable
- Customer service and liaison experience
- Sound organisational skills and an ability to be self-sufficient
- Proficiency in MS Office - Excel, Word and Google
- Xero experience would be advantageous
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Time management skills and ability to multi task in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

- Steady completion of workload in a timely manner is the key to success in this position
- Responsible Services of Alcohol certificate will be required, 3 months after start date.
- Drivers Licence
