Independent- Support and Care Workers

Our Member, a male participant in Burnside requires support with community participation and light house chores. Support required daytime 3 times per week for 4hours each day. Times are flexible between 9am and 6pm.

**Your Responsibilities**
- Light house chores
- Community Access (facilitate and support Member to participate in various meaningful community-based activities)
- Companionship (spending quality time with Member, and engaging in their hobbies)
- Help with motivation and planning
- Facilitate to appointments

**The Opportunity**

**Registration requirements**
- Certificate III in Aged Care/ Disabilities/Individual Support
- A smartphone to access the app
- Hold ABN or willing to obtain
- Valid Police check and NDIS Check
- Valid First aid training incl CPR
- Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance
- Experience in the care and support of older people or those with a disability
- Your own vehicle
- Full Australia’s driver’s licence and CTP mandatory insurance if using vehicle for work
- Proof of Australian residency status or working rights

**Job Type**: Subcontract

**Salary**: From $47.00 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
Helpers are expected to adhere to infection control measures at all times and to wear masks during contact with Members.

Work Location: One location
