**The Role**

The function of this position is to undertake the daily operations of product planning, analyse customer & vendor demands along the supply chain, and develop accurate forecasts for future product demands whilst also managing the customer service team.

**Responsibilities will include**:

- Ensure the company’s Demand Planning operations are timely and efficient
- Develop and undertake effective forecast models based on the supply and demand for products
- Support management with risk assessments and mitigation activities.
- Propose and implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy
- Successfully communicate forecast and inventory estimations to management
- Monitor and report on important changes in sales forecasts, budgets, and business strategies
- Ensures appropriate stock levels in all warehouses - oversees all replenishment and stock transport orders and monitors shipments to ensure delivery and release in the expected timeframe
- Address demand-related issues in a timely and effective manner
- Provides guidance and support to the customer service team with capturing each transaction correctly in the ERP system, when needed
- Ensures a high level of data integrity while making sure Customer Master, Product Master and pricing conditions are properly maintained
- Ideally, you will have a minimum of three to five years in a similar role, preferably within the pharmaceutical or consumer market
- Degree qualifications in Business Administration would be highly regarded
- In-depth knowledge of customer service principles, ERP software (preferably SAP), and databases
- Experience supervising a team would be highly regarded
- Solid understanding of inventory management practices and procedures
